Family Resource Programs  

Our Family Resource Programs are designed to empower families with the knowledge and tools they need to build resilient households and communities. From financial literacy workshops to parenting classes, our programs cover a wide range of topics that are crucial for family success. These events are led by trained leaders and community members.  Programs are designed promote leadership, be interactive and engaging, ensuring that participants leave with actionable insights. Here at ETC, Inc. we value collaboration.  The past sessions include "Let's Build Together" (a collaboration with The Healthshack252 and Village of Help of NC),  and Youth Poetry Night (A motivational community event via collaboration with a local community member).  Upcoming sessions include a continuation of youth poetry, Adult Poetry Night and Youth Focus Groups.  Join us to gain valuable skills and connect with other families in your community.

Educational Workshops

At Equipping The Community Organization, we believe that education is the cornerstone of community resilience. Our Educational Workshops provide attendees with the opportunity to learn from professionals in various fields, from education to healthcare. These workshops are tailored to address the needs of our community and include topics in "Mental Health Awareness," "Career Pathways," and more.  Each workshop is designed to be interactive, providing participants with practical knowledge and the chance to ask questions directly to the Facilitators.

Community Support Services

Our Community Support Services aim to create a strong support network within Nash, Edgecombe, Halifax, and surrounding counties. These services include community forums, support groups, and volunteer opportunities, all designed to foster a sense of unity and collective growth. Our upcoming events in this category feature "Youth Focus Groups",  "Caregiver Support Groups," "Mental Health Support Group", and 'Volunteer Orientation. Each event is an opportunity to make a tangible difference in your community while gaining support and networking with like-minded individuals. We believe that a strong community is built on mutual support and shared goals, and our events reflect this philosophy.
